Beckham is back and sporting a tweed cap

Beckham in tweed cap

David Beckham is back in Old Blighty and was spotted yeterday in West London sporting a dashing tweed hat. Becks is just as famous for his stylish good looks as he is for his free kicks and football skills. And whilst we can’t promise you all the glory of a world famous footballer, we can offer you an equally classic cap.

Maude & Fox’s classic tweed caps are available in a variety of tweeds (whose names are inspired by rural Dorset towns) including Mapperton, Evershot, Pimperne, Piddlehinton, Fiddleford, Tolpuddle, Spetisbury, Henley, Lulworth, Corfe and Cattistock.

Look forward to seeing you there

Maude & Fox Patriot Cap

Tweed with a twist? How about the patriot cap, made from a range of colourful tweeds. We’re getting an ever increasing following for the patriot cap, from the aristocracy to rugby fans, the latest sighting was at the Scotland game last weekend.

You will be pleased to hear that the Union Jack cap that you sent to my husband’s office, arrived in plenty of time and we took it up to Edinburgh for our son`s birthday.  It was admired by all, and worn straight away to the Scotland/south Africa rugby match and as far as I can gather worn pretty well ever since.

Designed in Dorset

Maude & Fox had a stand at Designed in Dorset, deep in the heart of the countryside near Sherborne and what a success.

We had a few prototype tweed pieces on show, plus the Maude ladies jacket in a rich moleskin was a winner along with the old favourites of gilets, hoodies and the ever popular Aspen.

Accessories were a winner for Christmas, shooting garters, welly warmers, mittens and caps.

Watch out for more info on the upcoming shooting bunnies….!

Keeping it tweed in Dorset.

Designed in Dorset – Autumn Fair

Maude & Fox  will be at the Designed in Dorset Autumn Fair, previews for invitees only on Thurs evening, open to all Fri 2nd November, 10am – 6pm.

On show will be a range of new accessories, gloves, wellie warmers, shooting garters, corsages, clutch bags and caps. In addition to our range of hoodies, skirts, gillets …… and some exciting tweed with a twist developments that we’ve been working on.

What’s new

We had a very productive summer coming up with all sorts of new ideas along the lines of tweed with a twist – we have now got a number of great luxurious ladies fur trimmed hoodies. The newly reshaped Aspen works perfectly as a glamorous apres ski top, to slip on for drinks at the country pub or as a chic number to stroll down the Kings Road. The Aspen comes in 3 beautiful colour combinations, grey with a creamy white fur collar, dark blue with a silver fox fur ( grey and white) or chocolatey brown perfect with the silver fox fur or faux fur. All our fur is from recycled sources and any of the Aspen hoodies can be made with a faux fur trim as an option.

Gillingham & Shaftesbury Show – 15th August

We were so disappointed that the CLA Game Fair was cancelled, we were looking forward to welcoming many people onto our stand. We have been busy booking up new shows, our first is this Wed 15th at the Gillingham & Shaftesbury Show.

We’ll have our full range of gilets, skirts and hoodies plus a few new items, plenty of great clothes that match the theme of the show, which is where town meets country.

Hopefully see you there.
